All Valley Income Tax is looking to hire an Accounting & Tax Intern. You will aid the owner with providing guidance, explaining, preparing, and completing accurate bookkeeping, payroll, and tax-related forms for clients.
This position will be mostly remote work but there may be some travel to client's location or for training.

Responsibilities
· Assist Tax Preparer with collection, organization, and analysis of client information for income tax preparation
· Prepare clients’ payroll and payroll tax return filings
· Assist with recording of financial transactions, reconcile bank accounts, prepare financial statements
· Work towards becoming a CTEC Registered Tax Preparer (Training provided)
Requirements
· Currently enrolled in college or university
· High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
· Bilingual in Spanish
· Familiarity with accounting, bookkeeping, taxation, or closely related fields
· Experience with Google Workspace, QuickBooks, or Tax Preparation Software
· CTEC Registered Tax Preparer Designation
